We start Bikeability training again as lockdown eases

All Saints CE Primary School in Wokingham was one of the first schools in our area to get training

18 June 2020

We have started delivering Bikeability in schools again and are following strict guidance designed to reduce the risk of spreading Covid-19.

Our new courses are for smaller groups and take into account the need for social distancing.

The scheduled courses are mainly Level 3 to prepare children in Year 6 for their commute to secondary school. But some Level 2 as well as Level 2 refresher courses, which incur a small charge for parents, have also been booked in.

One of the first schools to have the training was All Saints Primary School in Wokingham. The small groups of riders participating on each of three days started off with Level 1 in the playground before moving onto local roads – always observing the 2-metre social distancing rule.
