After qualifying in June, I re-set my training aiming to peak again at the end of August. I tried to cram a whole year’s woorth fo training into 6 weeks.
Week 1. Rest
Week 2: 1000 kms in 3 days
Week 3. recovery
Week 4 to 6 intensive training and resting. I am using the over under training techniques.
Week 7 to 8, tapering. reduce volume maintain intensity.
It seems to have worked as my average poewer ver ten miles has increased by 5%.
