Avanti Cycling is proud to be the local provider of an exciting trial project offering free online and practical training for approved driving instructors (ADIs).
The Cycle Savvy Driving course provides valuable training to driving instructors as part of a nation-wide research project designed to improve understanding and co-operation between people who drive and people who cycle.
Driving instructors will be offered bespoke training to ensure that the safety of cyclists is at the forefront of their minds when they teach new drivers.
The driving instructor cycle awareness pilot addresses the current paucity of cycle awareness learning resources for driving instructors and learner drivers and provides resources which ADIs can use for their own professional development and while teaching.

- Select the course you are looking which will then appear on the right side of the web page.
- Click View Details
- A page will then appear with all details of the course. If you wish to book then follow the instructions and complete all of the mandatory fields
- Add any additional participants
- Follow the payment instructions (if any)
